3 of Top 10 biggest-selling albums in 2011 are Canadian. Blame us.

Adele’s 21 and Michael Buble’s Christmas earned the top spots for album of the year in the US, according to Billboard magazine. The Brit singer came in at 1 with 5.82 million copies sold last year, and Christmas, the top holiday season earner, placed 2nd with 2.45 million since its Oct. 21 release. Two other Canadian acts made the US Top 10 best-selling album of year list with Drake’s Take Care in at No. 7, selling 1.25 million copies, and Justin Bieber’s Under the Mistletoe just behind at No. 8, selling 1.25 million.
