The Cribs are set to release their first album since 2009’s ‘Ignore The Ignorant’ and their first as a three-piece since 2007’s ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’ this April.

The album has the working title ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’, and has been produced by Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips, MGMT) in New York, as well as Shellac’s Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Jarvis Cocker) in Chicago and a self produced stint in London’s Abbey Road.

The band began work on the record following the departure of former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who left the band last year.
