Ol’ Dirty Bastard Biopic ‘Dirty White Boy’ Will Feature The Wu-Tang Clan Playing Themselves

From The New York Daily News:

MICHAEL K. WILLIAMS might just want to join the Wu-Tang Clan. The intense actor, who turned heads as Omar in “The Wire,” tells us he’s preparing for his first lead role as the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard in an upcoming biopic about the troubled rapper, but adds that the producers of the movie, tentatively titled “Dirty White Boy,” “have no desire to cast any actors as the Wu-Tang.” So expect to see the RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah and the other members of the groundbreaking hip-hop crew in the film. “We need all hands on deck,” Williams says. Including Inspectah Deck, we hope. In the meantime, Williams is getting the word out about an independent movie for which he’s serving as an executive producer. The film, “Snow on tha Bluff,” chronicles the life of an Atlanta drug dealer. Thanks to the amateur-style video quality, Williams describes it as “the ’hood meets ‘The Blair Witch Project.’”
