Mullet Gets Man Kicked Out of Australian Bar: They Said ‘They Don’t Want My Type Here’

From Gawker:

An “everyday person” from suburban Perth says he was thrown out of a rooftop bar in the Australian city’s Print Hall shopping and dining precinct because of his mullet.

“I’m not in a gang, I don’t have tattoos all over me, I’m just an everyday person,” David Hoogland of Morley told The West Australian.

He said he, his fiancee Sarah Sorgiovanni, some friends, and his ten-year mullet were having a pleasant evening, when he was suddenly approached by bouncers and asked to leave.

He was wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and dress shoes at the time.

Hoogland said: “The management upstairs told security that they they don’t want my type here.”

“I agree if you’re being rowdy, out of control, drunk or abusive then you should be kicked out,” he added, “but if you’re just sitting down having a chat and a quiet social drink, I think that’s pretty rude.”
