Whitney Houston, Elton John Albums Among Grammy Hall of Fame Inductees

On the Grammy Hall of Fame’s 40th anniversary, the Recording Academy is honoring Whitney Houston, Elton John, AC/DC and more.

In total, 27 recordings will be added to the collection this year. Among them are Ray Charles’ “Hit the Road Jack,” James Brown’s “I Feel Good,” Billy Joel’s “Piano Man,” Frank Sinatra’s theme from “New York, New York” and Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A-Changin’.” Also being inducted is AC/DC’s classic 1980 album Back in Black, Paul McCartney & the Wings’ Band on the Run from 1974 as well as self-titled albums from Elton John (1970) and Whitney Houston (1985).
