In an attempt to keep up with the ever-changing ways people buy and listen to music, HMV Canada has launched a new subscription-based, streaming digital music service.
InmyVault.com, dubbed The Vault, launched Tuesday with a catalogue of millions of tracks. You can use it for a monthly fee of either $4.99 to listen on a computer or $9.99 to put it on mobile devices, which is in line with some competing services like Rdio.
Canadians can try the service, which is still in beta mode, for two weeks for free before buying a subscription. In the future, The Vault could be expanded to offer other content, like movies.
