OutKast To Reunite On New Version Of Frank Ocean’s ‘Pink Matter’

There seems to be some movement on the OutKast reunion, with news that an anticipated collaboration on a reworking of Frank Ocean’s ‘Pink Matter’ may happen after all. Rumours had circulated that the two would appear on the track last year, with Big Boi claiming via Twitter “Dre didn’t want an outkast Record coming out on anybody else LP”. The version released on Ocean’s much lauded album ‘channel ORANGE’ only featured André 3000.

However, with Big Boi posting an image of lyrics for a new verse for the track on Instagram, it appears there has been a change of heart. Consequence of Sound reports that the new version of the track, featuring both André 3000 and Big Boi, will land next week. That’s not the only team up on the horizon, either, with claims that he’s also set to add a verse to T.I.’s ‘Sorry’, which currently only features Dre.
