Watch Eels’ Profanity-Laden ‘This Is 40′ Deleted Scene

From Spin Magazine:

There’s another music industry-assisted outtake of This Is 40, courtesy Eels’ main brain Mark Oliver Everett. The three-and-a-half minute clip is similar to Armstrong’s cameo: an ego trippin’ Everett meets with Paul Rudd, who plays a record executive, and what starts as a promising powwow quickly turns into a profanity-filled confrontation. Everett, the sole fixed member of Eels, follows a heartfelt rendition of gentle ballad “What I Have to Offer” (off 2010′s Tomorrow Morning) with an indignant rant, delivered in the third-person and built around a simple truth: “Eels does not like to get fucked.”
