Aspiring switched on pop dolly Yvonne records a song called ‘I Can’t Sing But I’m Young. It sounds awful but after some mixing by the studio engineers it’s smashing and she’s an immediate chart sensation. Fame and fortune follow and she is featured in ‘Mini Trends’ magazine which is very pacey.
Smashing Time was made in 1967 and is a satirical comedy about the swinging sixties.
