A divorce attorney had an affair with one of his clients, and later billed her for the time they spent in bed

From City Pages:

Talk about mixing work and play. Eagan attorney Thomas Lowe’s law license is indefinitely suspended after he admitted to having an affair with a client he represented in a divorce proceeding and billing her for time they spent having sex.

After six months, Lowe, 58, tried to break off both his professional and sexual relationship with the woman. Distraught, she unsuccessfully tried to kill herself and spilled the beans about the affair while hospitalized.

The woman first met with Lowe to discuss the possibility of him representing her during her divorce in August 2011, and the Pioneer Press explains how things unfolded from there.
