KISS And Hello Kitty Join Forces

The early 70′s gave us two iconic pop culture phenomenons. 1973 saw the debut of KISS and 1974 brought us Hello Kitty. Two years ago, the two joined forces in an agreement between the group and the Japanese company Sanrio.

The KISS x Hello Kitty line includes clothing, purses, jewellery, figurines and, soon, an animated television series. The HUB network announced on Thursday that they had optioned the rights to the show KISS Hello Kitty which will feature the four KISS x Hello Kitty characters living their rock ‘n’ roll dreams and bringing pink anarchy to every situation they are in. The all-new animated series is in the initial stages of development with Mr. Simmons slated to be one of the executive producers. The series will be produced by KISS Catalogue Ltd. and Sanrio.
