Movie Execs Originally Called Blade Runner “Deadly Dull”

Today, Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner is considered by many as a sci-fi classic, but in 1982 the studio execs didn’t give it two thumbs up. Tandem Productions’ Jerry Perenchio, Bud Yorkin, and Robin French considered it “deadly dull” and “gets worse every screening.”
