Soul II Soul frontman Jazzie B has been honoured with a special ‘portrait bench’ at Finsbury Park bus station in London, near where he was born.
The bench is to mark the creation of a new walking and cycling route across Islington from Highbury Fields to Finsbury Park. As part of the project, locals voted for three famous locals to appear as life-size silhouettes on special portrait benches near the route. The winners were Jazzie B, suffragette Edith Garrud and health pioneer Florence Keen.
