U2 Play Acoustic ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’ for Agit8

From Rolling Stone:

U2 have posted a clip of them performing an acoustic version of “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” joining bands contributing protest songs to the One Campaign’s agit8 anti-poverty initiative.

In snippets of an interview interspersed with performance footage, Bono describes listening to John Lennon, Bob Marley and Bob Dylan singing songs of dissent, and realizing that the world is malleable, and that conditions can be changed. “Things did not have to be as things were,” he said.
