Atoms For Peace launch new music service

Three days after Atoms For Peace removed their music from Spotify, after band member and producer Nigel Godrich claimed the streaming site to be “bad for new music”, the supergroup that also features Thom Yorke of Radiohead and Flea of Red Hot Chilli Peppers has gotten behind the launch of new music broadcasting service Soundhalo, which launched today.

Hardly an answer to or future competitor of Spotify, Soundhalo will concentrate on streaming live music rather than studio albums, making shows available to view and download as they happen.
