Facebook is now #2 on the list of the most popular social network for American teenagers, according to Piper Jaffray’s biannual survey among thousands of U.S. The world’s largest social network has been replaced by Twitter. Instagram and Tumblr have also gained traction.

Given the numbers shown in the Statista chart below, Facebook might just hit #1 soon enough again, with their decision to acquire Instagram looks to be a great deal, as the photo sharing platform is proving very popular with a younger audience.
