Domino’s Pizza has rolled out a new function for its mobile app that allows customers to place orders with a computer-generated voice. So it’s like Siri, except exclusively for pizza. As Etta James would say, At last, my love has come along.
The feature, nicknamed “Dom,” is part of a partnership with software company Nuance, who customized the technology for Domino’s, the Associated Press and Mashable report. Nuance aimed to make the virtual experience similar to the real-life interactions you’d have with a human Domino’s employee.
