We Need To Bring Back Tiny Vinyl Record Postage Stamps

Known as the “first talking stamps” in 1972, these vinyl postage stamps from Bhutan were playable and when the needle was put on the record stamp you heard Bhutan’s national anthem and a capsule history of the nation.

Not only did you get to hear music, but they’re still legal for mailing use.

WFMU has a few samples of what the stamps sound like. You can listen to them here.
