The Country Music Association of Ontario is pleased to announce that, in collaboration with Music and Film in Motion, they will be hosting seminars on: Saturday, September 27th, in Sault Ste. Marie, at 180 Projects, 180 Gore Street; and on Sunday, September 28th, in Sudbury, at The Motley Kitchen, 70 Young Street.
Confirmed participants include Jason Barry, award-winning record producer; K.T. Timmermans of Manitoulin Radio; country artist and sponsorship expert Larry Berrio; recording artist, former record label executive, producer and songwriter, Brian Allen; award-winning guitarist, artist, composer and producer Wendell Ferguson; Jen McKerral, Music Officer, Music & Film in Motion; Bruce Good of the JUNO Award-winning group The Good Brothers; and Heather Ostertag, C.M., Interim Executive Director, CMAO.
The afternoon segment will feature a DemoRama (song critiquing session), where industry experts offer advice on attendees’ song demos. Those wishing to participate in the DemoRama are advised to bring a one-song CD or MP3 burned on a disc and three copies of lyrics for the adjudication process.
