It’s been a few years since I met him through email, and he’s remained a mystery by all, but Toronto-based music fanLonely Vagabond attends more shows than you can imagine, and knows more about music than most people in the industry. One look to his Twitter feed shows that although nobody’s quite sure who he is, he’s been hammering out wonderful tips of a greater magnitude than most.
In his latest work, he’s re-created Toronto’s TTC Map, but instead of the usual subway stops, he’s reworked the subway stop listings to some of the city’s greatest songs. Click on the graphic for the full-size.
If the TTC ever wanted to acknowledge the cultural significance of the city’s music scene and help bring some of their debt down at the same time, riders will rightly lap this up. All aboard!
