Madison House, Inc. Expands To Canada

Booking and management company Madison House, Inc. announces the opening of a Toronto-based office, which will serve as the company’s hub for booking its clients’ tours and performances throughout Canada. With this expansion into the heart of one of Canada’s best music scenes, Madison House also adds several significant Canadian artists to their ever-growing roster of over 140 innovative and ambitious musical talents.

Madison House’s Toronto office will be led by young, forward-thinking booking agent Perry Gilman. Formerly an agent at The Feldman Agency, Gilman has spent the last several years booking everything from mega-rock and pop bands and festivals to corporate events and college shows, all the while fostering growth of EDM and dance music in Canada via an exciting artist roster. Gilman brings with him his current roster of booking clients in Canada, and some beyond, including Keys N Krates, Grandtheft, P Reign, Torro Torro, Jillionaire (of Major Lazer), Thugli, double-platinum artist Trevor Guthrie, and others. “I’m honored to join the Madison House team and lead their expansion to Canada,” says Gilman. “I’ve always respected and admired MH, and I’m excited to continue growing as an agent and developing my artist roster as part of the company. I look forward to bringing new opportunities to existing and future clients, and to signing and developing new talent throughout North America.”

“We have really admired what Perry has accomplished with his artists’ touring careers and are incredibly excited to have him join our team in leading our efforts in Canada,” says Madison House Partner Jake Schneider.

The direction of this expansion is a natural next step for Madison House, whose diverse roster includes booking clients BASSNECTAR, Beats Antique, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Hieroglyphics, Lotus, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Paper Diamond, Rising Appalachia, The Soul Rebels, The String Cheese Incident, Zion I, and many others. Over the last several years, Madison House has become well-reputed for helping lead EDM’s massive wave of success, representing both heavy hitters and new and emerging talent in the genre, in addition to helping curate Electric Forest festival, which is co-produced by Madison House’s sister company, Madison House Presents.

Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado for nearly 20 years, Madison House has long had a solid foothold in Canada, regularly bringing their booking clients to the region for various tours and events. “Opening a Toronto office feels like a natural extension of the work we’ve done in Canada thus far,” explains Madison House Partner Jesse Aratow.

“We’re excited to even further our reach with Canadian venues, festivals and talent buyers,” Madison House Co-Founder Nadia Prescher adds. “Having a physical presence in the region will help us fully realize this goal and will benefit our clients immensely.”
