B.B. King Shows His Grace Under Fire By Changing Guitar String Mid-Song

Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. B.B. King performed “How Blue Can You Get” live at the Farm Aid concert in Champaign, Illinois on September 22, 1985. But this clip was notable for something amazing that happened – B.B. broke a guitar string at around the 3:10 mark, smiles happily, takes all the love from the crowd in, and changes it without missing a mark. What a lesson in grace under fire.
