In its commitment to building the world’s strongest music brands, Entertainment One (eOne) today announced that Meg Symsyk has joined the Company in the newly-created role of Vice President, International Marketing & Management, eOne Music. The appointment was made by Chris Taylor, President, eOne Music.
In her new role, Symsyk will bring her deep industry expertise to oversee artist brand marketing efforts on a global basis for an impressive roster of label and management clients across all genres for the division. This includes the newly acquired artist roster from Last Gang such as MSTRKRFT, Death From Above 1979, as well as management clients Arkells, Jack Novak and Lights.

Symsyk brings a wide-range of experience in the music business to eOne, having worked in all sectors including artist management, media, promotion, publishing and touring. She spent the last 8 years in artist management at SRO Management/Anthem Entertainment Group, a full service management, publishing and label company where she primarily handled marketing and media for rock legends Rush globally and managed punk rock icon Brody Dalle.
Prior to that, Symsyk held posts at Universal Music Canada, initially in radio promotion and then as Director of Marketing where she handled a diverse roster of artists on various label imprints including Interscope, Geffen, A&M, 604 Records & Roadrunner in Canada. Known for her creativity, tenacious spirit and strong artist relations, she delivered numerous successful campaigns during that tenure with artists such as Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, Nelly Furtado, Gwen Stefani, and Rufus Wainwright. Symsyk started in the industry working in the live sector by booking campus venues.
In addition to her eOne responsibilities, Symsyk will continue her working relationship with SRO & Rush (Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Neil Peart) in the handling of their media. She will also maintain her industry executive board positions as the President, Music Managers Forum Canada (MMF) and Vice-Chair of Factor.
