Natalie MacMaster Inducted Into Casino Nova Scotia Music Hall Of Fame

This year Casino Nova Scotia will celebrate the induction of 5 members to the Casino Nova Scotia Music Hall of Fame in the in Sydney, NS at Centre 200 on Wednesday, November 16th.

The second round of inductees to be recognized for their contributions to promoting Canada’s East Coast culture and music beyond Atlantic Canada include all 4 Atlantic Provinces this year. Inductees include Natalie MacMaster, Gene MacLellan, Harry Hibbs, Ken Tobias and Joella Foulds.

Last year’s induction ceremony was an amazing tribute to the inaugural inductees Rita MacNeil, John Allen Cameron, Portia White, Anne Murray, and Brookes and Fiona Diamond. The 2016 event is get to pay tribute to the inductees with a stellar cast of East Coast artists.

The Hall of Fame will celebrate Atlantic Canadian music, musicians and industry leaders who have attained commercial success while continuing to have a positive impact on the Atlantic Canadian music scene locally, nationally and internationally. The Hall of Fame will be a place where Nova Scotians, tourists, fans and history buffs can learn about the history of music from Atlantic Canada and the significance of our music and artists (past and present) on the world stage.
