LCD Soundsystem’s New Album “American Dream” Out September 1

In the wake of the May 5 release of its “call the police”/“american dream” single and May 6 Saturday Night Live performance of those songs, and having sold out its latest seven-night residency at Brooklyn Steel in 10 minutes, LCD Soundsystem now confirms details of its long awaited fourth album and accompanying world tour.

American Dream will be released September 1 via Columbia Records/DFA and will consist of the following songs:

LCD Soundsystem has also announced dates of an extensive world tour, bookended by encore residencies at Brooklyn Steel: a seven-performance run spanning June 16-24 currently underway and a ten-show homecoming taking place over December 11-23. In the intervening months, LCD Soundsystem will circle the globe, playing arenas, theaters and festivals worldwide—including previously announced headline appearances at Pitchfork, Forecastle, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, among others.
