Bob Dylan Launches ‘Heaven’s Door’ Whiskey

Heaven’s Door is a small-batch collection of handcrafted American Whiskeys developed in partnership with Bob Dylan. The perfect blend of art and craft, each bottle of Heaven’s Door showcases Dylan’s distinctive, welded iron gates that he created in his studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks.

A unique mash bill from Tennessee, their Bourbon utilizes 30% “small grains” to complement the character imparted from spending more than 6 1/2 years in American oak barrels. The result is smooth and lasting with notes of vanilla and baked bread layered over a bed of toasted oak.

Comprised of a unique blend of three different whiskeys, their double barrel finishing process utilizes hand-toasted, new American oak barrels for a secondary aging worthy of another year’s wait. Double Barrel’s higher proof balances perfectly with the complexity of its flavor and notes of caramel, oak, citrus, and spice.

Breaking with tradition, they finish their Straight Rye Whiskey in toasted oak cigar barrels, air-dried in the low-lying mountain region of Vosges, France. This proprietary finishing results in a smoother, more approachable rye with notes of orange peel, coriander, and spice.
