2019 will mark the debut of the CMAOntario Festival and Awards in the nation’s capital. Announced today by the Country Music Association of Ontario, the annual three-day fête will take over various venues in Ottawa from June 14-16, 2019 to celebrate the best in Ontario country music.

Country music fans will have the opportunity to applaud their favourite country artists and experience close interactive performances by some of the top names in Ontario country music throughout the weekend. Festivities will culminate with the 7th Annual CMAOntario Awards on Sunday, June 16th at National Arts Centre.

Additional details regarding participants, performers and ticket availability will be announced in the coming weeks.

In 2007, Rob MacArthur and founding patron Linda Wright together with a number of key industry professionals founded the Country Music Association of Ontario. The Association’s mandate is to foster the growth and development of Ontario’s country music and its industry, provincially, nationally and internationally. The CMAOntario has hosted six annual Awards Shows and five two-day Road to Independence educational conferences with the generous assistance of presenting sponsor Slaight Music and support of Ontario Creates.
