Are you interested in learning more about your online music streaming options? Continue reading to learn about the best places to go for the music you want to listen to.

Spotify

Spotify is a must-have if you want to find a great music streaming website. With millions of songs available that you can listen to from anywhere, you won’t run out of options. In fact, you’ll likely come across groups and artists you hadn’t previously heard of or even develop a taste for new genres. Once you download the Spotify app, you can look for music, set up playlists, and even share tunes with people you know.

While Spotify is free, you’ll have to put up with ads with the free version. You can, however, upgrade to a paid subscription to ditch the advertisements. Other benefits of a premium plan are that you can read song lyrics, enjoy better-quality audio, and more. Whether you’re in the car, at your desk, or curled up with a good book by the fireplace with wireless speakers on a fireplace mantel, you can enjoy your music whenever you want and from wherever you want.

YouTube

Everyone’s heard of YouTube, the global online video sharing and social media platform. But you may not have heard of YouTube Music, which focuses on streaming music and music videos. If you’re used to using YouTube, you won’t have trouble using YouTube Music. You can look for the music you want, set up playlists, subscribe to the channels of your favorite artists, and more. You can upload your music from YouTube Music to listen to your tunes from anywhere.

Pandora

Yet another platform to check out music from your favorite bands and artists is Pandora. You can listen to tracks you know and love, and check out new songs from musicians you’re not yet familiar with. Who knows? You might discover your new favorite artist, band, song, or composer. One of the great things about Pandora is that it will create a streaming radio station based on your preferences after you search for a genre or band. You can listen to great tunes online and download songs onto your smartphone or tablet via an app.

Pandora will introduce you to songs that are similar to the artists you’ve already selected in the past. You’ll be able to get more of what you’re hearing from these new artists or stop hearing songs from these new artists. Using Pandora, you can construct many different custom stations to enjoy the tunes you want. You can opt for paid versions if you want to skip the ads and hear the music instead. It’s a streaming option you’ll definitely want to check out.

These are just a handful of examples if you want to enjoy some of your favorite tunes online. While you may still like to listen to music on CDs or vinyl records, streaming is a great option. You’ll find that these streaming platforms offer free music — though that means dealing with ads. But you can also upgrade to a paid option if you’d rather not have to wade through advertisements.
