Guns N’ Roses set to tour the Americas in 2022

By Mitch Rice

When thinking about some of the most iconic and legendary rock bands to have ever been formed throughout history, there are a number of different groups that could be listed. However, there is one band that will likely appear near the top of every single list that is created: the Guns N’ Roses.

The Guns N’ Roses are one of the most iconic American hard rock bands of all time. Formed in 1985, the band consists of Axl Rose (lead vocals), Slash (lead guitar), Duff McKagan (bass), and Dizzy Reed (keyboards), as well as Melissa Reese (keyboards), Richard Fortus (guitars), and Frank Ferrer (drums). The group has released six studio albums, three live albums, two compilation albums, and one extended play.

Guns N’ Roses have been incredibly successful

The band’s debut album, Appetite for Destruction (1987), was a massive success, peaking at number one on the Billboard 200 and selling more than 18 million copies in the United States. The album spawned several hit singles, including “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Sweet Child o’ Mine”, and “Paradise City”.

In 1991, the band released its second studio album, Use Your Illusion I and II, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The albums featured several hit singles, including “November Rain” and “Civil War”.

In 1995, the band released its third studio album, The Spaghetti Incident?. In 1997, the band embarked on a tour for its fourth studio album, Chinese Democracy. The album was finally released in 2008, after 15 years of delays.

The band has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards and has won two. In 2016, the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

A huge reputation has been formed around the world

Indeed, the rock band has been able to create a huge reputation and brand image for themselves over the years, which has resulted in a huge following from a variety of different people and brands.

The group has been able to use their name to sell merchandise all over the world across a variety of different products including t-shirts and other clothing lines, whilst they have had an impact in the entertainment sector aside from the music that they have continued to produce.

One of the biggest examples of this is in the gambling industry, as players can now enjoy a session at an online casino PA has available playing one of the greatest musical slot games released, Guns N Roses. This game, which was created by NetEnt, is incredibly simple and easy to enjoy due to the format that is used as it follows a traditional 5-reel, 3-row setup and features a number of classic songs that they have released in the past.

Songs include titles:

  • Welcome to the Jungle
  • Sweet Child o’ Mine
  • Paradise City
  • November Rain
  • Chinese Democracy

Guns N’ Roses Touring Americas in 2022

Fans of the rock group will be able to see them do their thing across the Americas this year, as there are a number of dates planned throughout the continent.

The rock band will be visiting Florida as they will perform at the “Welcome to Rockville” event at Daytona Beach, FL, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, where they will be joined by other rock icons.

After that, they will then head to Brazil after completing an extensive tour of Europe, where they will play at the Rock In Rio Festival in Rio De Janeiro on Sep 8, 2022, before heading to Mexico a month later and performing across a variety of different dates.

Currently, Guns N’ Roses are scheduled to perform on October 15, 2022, at Xmatkuil Juntos Haremos Historia in Merida, before performing in Guadalajara at the Estadio Akron on October 18.

This is then followed by shows in Mexico City at the Estadio Ciudad De Los Deportes on Friday, October 21, before completing the tour on October 23 at the Estadio de Beisbol en Monterrey.

What should we expect?

Fans of the legendary rock group will perhaps already know what to expect if they decide to go and watch one of their shows, as they have become rather famous for doing certain things.

The Guns N’ Roses are known for their on-stage antics, which sometimes result in violence. The band has been involved in several controversies, including Rose’s onstage tirades, the use of profanity, and the cancellation of shows.

Nonetheless, for many, this is now considered to be a part of the entire performance and many would find themselves rather disappointed if some of these things (or all of them) did not happen when they watch them live in action.
