Although Led Zeppelin only had a brief impact on the Rock & Roll world, their legacy is truly timeless. They were the masters of innovation and diversity, and their music encompasses so many different genres and styles that it is hard to categorize them. Their combined talent was unrivaled and uncontested. The band’s fans still yearn for the raw intensity of a live performance even if their songs are still often played on the radio and their albums are being purchased in great numbers by younger generations.
Led Zeppelin’s Cover Band at Mohegan Sun Pocono
On Aug 18, 2022, Black Dog honored the legendary Led Zeppelin with a stellar performance of songs that included lesser-known B-sides as well as timeless masterpieces like “Dazed and Confused,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Stairway to Heaven.”
With a mandolin and specially tuned guitars played on stools, a full acoustic concert brought classics like “Going to California,” “Friends,” and “That’s the Way” to life. The Song Remains the Same’s “Whole Lotta Love,” which features Page’s going for a theremin solo, is among the lengthier renditions in the concert that faithfully recreate the authentic live experience.
