Their crystal ball was clear with last year’s Songs of Summer predictions, featuring bangers like Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer,” “WHERE SHE GOES” by Bad Bunny, and “Ella Baila Sola,” by Eslabon Armado and Peso Pluma. Once again, Spotify’s Editorial team have surveyed the music landscape and delivered their predictions for the songs that will define summer 2024.
From pop to hip-hop to Latin—and everything in between—Spotify’s predictions for this year’s Songs of Summer include something for everyone: Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” will wake you up in time to get a good spot by the water; “Gata Only” by FloyyMenor and Cris Mj, will remind you to put your phone down on Summer Fridays; Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” will be there to console you with party vibes if that summer fling falls apart; and Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe!” will help you say, “I told you so.”
