Canadian indie pop artist Olivia Lunny releases her bold, emotionally-charged album, VELVET & DENIM via Infinity & Recordings. Listen HERE. The album is accompanied by the visualizer for the ethereal “VELVET & DENIM,” originally written 8 years ago, the song became the title track for the album, setting the tone of duality that spans the 12-song record.

It’s a love letter to the in-between, to late-night drives through Los Angeles, to heartbreak and healing, and becoming. These songs tell stories that are delicate, gritty and extremely honest. Olivia’s VELVET & DENIM is an album that captures the tension between softness and strength. With storytelling that is both delicate and persistent, Olivia leans into the dualities that define us. The album features previously released tracks, including the anthem of confidence “MARILYN,” determined love song “HEAVEN” and ode to Los Angeles industry life, “CITY OF ANGELS.”
This Sunday, June 8, Olivia will make her Governors Ball live debut in NYC, then head to Europe to perform a select few festivals overseas including Lido Festival, Pinkpop Festival and Isle of Wright Festival. Additionally, she will provide support for Justin Timberlake at shows in Belfast and Dublin as well as BANKS for the Fall 2025 European leg of the “Off with Her Head Tour.”
After winning Canada’s music competition show The Launch in 2020, Olivia has since amassed over 80 million global streams, 2 top 40 US radio singles and a top 20 single at Canadian Pop Radio. Olivia Lunny is a rising Canadian pop artist whose music lives in the space between two worlds: the raw and the glamorous, the denim and the velvet.
