The annual BOWL FOR RONNIE Celebrity Bowling Party returns Thursday, November 13, 2025, at PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City, California, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Hosted by television and radio personality Eddie Trunk (SiriusXM 103 Faction Talk), the evening features a star-studded bowling tournament, prizes, and memorabilia raffles—all to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. Last year’s sold-out event brought in more than $70,000 for the charity.
Festivities begin at 6:30 PM with open bowling and a VIP pre-party for lane sponsors, celebrities, and their guests. Previous BOWL FOR RONNIE lineups have included Dave Grohl, Tom Morello, Geezer Butler, Jack Black & Kyle Gass, Lita Ford, members of Fuel, Armored Saint, Eagles of Death Metal, and more. This year’s celebrity bowlers will be announced soon, along with an eBay auction to join Eddie Trunk’s team.

Founded in memory of the legendary vocalist Ronnie James Dio (who passed from gastric cancer in 2010), the privately funded 501(c)(3) charity has raised over $2 million to date. Funds support leading research initiatives, including the T.J. Martell Foundation, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and Dr. David Wong’s team at UCLA developing a simple, non-invasive saliva test for early cancer detection.
