Unbeknownst to many, Peter Gabriel recorded full German-language versions of his third and fourth solo albums in the early 1980s. Among the rarest performances from this period is his 1983 live rendition of “Jetz Kommt Die Flut,” the German version of “Here Comes the Flood.” This clip remains the only known video of Gabriel delivering the song in German, offering a fascinating glimpse into his experimental cross-cultural artistry.
