he Last Dinner Party have released their new single “Second Best,” taken from their forthcoming album From The Pyre, due October 17, 2025 via Island Records.
Written by guitarist Emily Roberts and inspired by the angular pop energy of Sparks, “Second Best” explores the tension of loving someone despite knowing they will betray you.
“Second Best” follows previous singles “This Is The Killer Speaking” and “The Scythe”, offering a third glimpse into From The Pyre. The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner Markus Dravs (Wolf Alice, Florence & The Machine, Björk) and serves as the follow-up to their 2023 number one debut Prelude to Ecstasy.
