Indie Pop Artist Julie Neff Unveils Striking Video for “fine!?”

Julie Neff enters a new chapter with the release of the music video for “fine!?”, the first single from her upcoming debut album, arriving in 2026. Known for her cinematic storytelling and heartfelt lyricism, Neff delivers a visual that radiates both emotion and elegance.

Directed by Jader Chahine with co-direction by Pedro Lacerda and cinematography by Carol Bonsi, the video brings to life the gold and kintsugi-inspired visuals from the album’s cover art. “For the video I wanted to bring in the gold elements and references to kintsugi present on the cover, but with a more dramatic look for the outfit. The idea that you can put on as much makeup or fancy clothes as you want, but it won’t erase the pain that is happening internally,” Julie explains.

Taking cues from Adele’s “Send My Love,” the video evolves with intensity, reflecting the emotional current that drives “fine!?”. Through expressive performances and layered visuals, Julie captures the quiet turbulence of living with anxiety and the strength it takes to face it openly.

“After years of living with chronic pain, illness, depression, and anxiety, I realized that the perception of ‘having everything under control’ can be dangerous,” she shares. “‘fine!?’ is my attempt to understand and give shape to that feeling, that pain — to make sense of it for myself and others. It’s a step toward allowing myself to be imperfect in front of people and to admit when things aren’t okay.”

With three EPs already released and a full-length debut on the horizon, Julie Neff continues to merge honesty with artistry. “fine!?” reflects her creative depth and courage, blending vulnerability with beauty in both sound and vision.
