Born from Belgium’s underground, Serpents Oath began as a trinity of extreme metal adepts bonded by a vision of chaos and transformation. Their debut Nihil (2020) laid the foundation, Ascension (2022) pushed their sound into even darker territory, and now Revelation (2024) cements their place among black metal’s most vital new voices. “Gateways to Tiamat” serves as both the album’s infernal centerpiece and a hymn to the serpent that devours and renews all creation.
Produced and mastered by Yarne Heylen at Project Zero Studio, the song crackles with menace and mysticism. Frontman Tes Re Oth explains, “The vision behind the band is one of transformation.
