Alt-metal powerhouses From Ashes To New have unleashed their explosive new single “New Disease,” out now via Better Noise Music. The track delivers a scathing critique of trend-chasing and social validation, pairing crushing riffs with razor-sharp lyrics that pull no punches. It arrives ahead of the band’s highly anticipated New Disease Tour and festival appearances this fall.
“Every day there’s a new trend,” says frontman Matt Brandyberry. “Every day, there’s a new wave of people going out of their way to be recognized no matter the cost. We are hypnotized by our vices… we will kill ourselves to be noticed.” His words echo the song’s dark undercurrent — a powerful reflection on identity, self-destruction, and the desire for authenticity in an attention-obsessed world.
“New Disease” amplifies the band’s signature blend of metal, hip-hop, and melody while expanding their creative reach. It follows “Live Before I’m Dead (Hours),” one of six new tracks from the Blackout (Deluxe) edition released in June 2024, marking another step forward for the genre-defying outfit.
