XG leader Jurin steps into the spotlight as Jurin Asaya, making her long-awaited solo debut with the single “PS118” featuring Grammy-winning rapper Rapsody, out November 18 via XGALX. Initially teased through a cryptic social post in October, “PS118” marks the first-ever solo release from an XG member and the group’s first official collaboration, signaling a bold new era for the rising global collective. The track captures Jurin’s artistic evolution and self-determination, pairing her razor-sharp lyricism with old-school hip-hop beats that echo through cosmic soundscapes.
For Rapsody, the collaboration offered a meeting of two lyrical worlds: “Jurin walked the walk of a true emcee on that record and it was a joy to share the mic with her,” she said. The track serves as a prelude to XG’s next chapter — their debut full-length album The Core – 核 arrives January 23, followed by the XG World Tour: The Core beginning in February. “PS118” not only cements Jurin’s position as a fearless voice in global hip-hop, but also showcases XG’s expanding universe, where language, style, and sound collide in bold, boundary-free expression.
