Following the announcement of his upcoming album ‘Sankofa,’ out December 4, redveil has revealed his 2026 North American “Sankofa Tour.” The 27-date run kicks off in February with rising artist Chenayder joining as support, bringing redveil’s new material to stages across the U.S. and Canada. Known for his passionate and high-energy performances, this tour will be his biggest yet, reaching fans in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and Toronto.
‘Sankofa’ marks redveil’s fourth full-length project and reflects years of creative evolution shaped by a guiding Ghanaian proverb meaning “it is not taboo to go back for what you have forgotten.” The album includes the singles “Lone Star” featuring Grammy-nominated vocalist Carolyn Malachi, “Mini Me,” and “Brown Sugar” featuring Smino. Entirely self-produced, ‘Sankofa’ expands redveil’s musical horizons with the addition of live instrumentation and lush studio arrangements. From the reggae and soul grooves of “Brown Sugar” to the sharp synths and drums of “Lone Star,” the project captures his most intricate and dynamic sound yet.
After earning praise from Pitchfork, Vulture, NPR, and The FADER for his earlier releases, redveil continues to push forward as one of hip-hop’s most exciting young voices. His 2026 “Sankofa Tour” will celebrate this new chapter with an immersive experience for fans who have followed his journey from his viral debut ‘learn 2 swim’ to his sold-out headline runs. ‘Sankofa’ is out December 4, and the tour begins February 11 in Houston before wrapping up March 21 in Phoenix.
