Bronx born, Brooklyn based artist Anysia Kym releases her new single “Speedrun” and announces her collaborative album ‘Purity’, out now via 10k. The standout video, directed by Standby Projects, features Anysia performing Lambkin’s choreography on a quiet South London street at dusk, setting the tone for the intimate emotional world she and Tony Seltzer built together. The project grew from their early bond over drums, and “Speedrun” reflects that connection with pointed songwriting that blends tenderness and directness as she asks a lover to take a risk on her.
‘Purity’ highlights Anysia’s bold evolution as a vocalist, producer and songwriter, pulling from jungle, drum n bass and soulful R&B while expanding the sonic identity she first explored with projects like Soliloquy, Pressure Sensitive and 2024’s Truest. She has become a singular voice within New York’s underground, finding community with labelmates MIKE, Sideshow and Niontay and collaborating with UK producer Loraine James on their Clandestine EP. Tony Seltzer, known for work with Princess Nokia, Jay Critch and Eartheater, brings his energetic, synth driven production to the album, pushing Anysia into new dimensions as both artists showcase the creative trust and ambition that defines ‘Purity’.
