Metallica has offically launched Maximum Metallica, a year round SiriusXM channel out now on Channel 42 and the SiriusXM app. Lars Ulrich announced the launch with Howard Stern, marking a massive moment for fans as SiriusXM goes all in on a full time destination for mega hits, deep cuts, live shows, rare recordings and band curated surprises. To celebrate, Metallica performed an exclusive out now show at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett NY, bringing their M72 World Tour power into one of the most intimate venues they have played in decades for a lucky audience of SiriusXM subscribers.
The concert will rebroadcast throughout the week on Maximum Metallica and stream on the SiriusXM app, with a full airing on Howard 101. Maximum Metallica is also available for free in all SiriusXM equipped vehicles through September, giving listeners a front row seat to everything in the band’s universe. The Talkhouse performance continues SiriusXM’s long running series of special concerts at the historic Hamptons venue, joining standout shows from Brandi Carlile, Coldplay, Dave Matthews, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, The Killers and Mumford and Sons.
