The highly anticipated new record from the metalcore powerhouse I Prevail, ‘Violent Nature’, is officially OUT NOW, having been released on September 19th via Fearless Records. The band gave fans one final single before the album’s release, the explosive track “Annihilate Me,” which showcases the band at their most emotionally raw and sonically powerful. This song begins with a slow burning intensity, building with haunting precision before erupting into a hard hitting, anthemic chorus that represents a total purge of emotion. This album ushers in a major new chapter for the band, as frontman Eric Vanlerberghe now handles all lead vocals, skillfully tackling both the clean and unclean vocal parts.
“‘Annihilate Me’ feels like one of the most I Prevail songs on the album,” says Vanlerberghe. “It’s about opening yourself up over and over again only to keep getting cut down, but regardless of how many times you’ve been pushed down, you’re going to push yourself further – even if that means your own annihilation.” The ten track record was produced by the band’s talented bass player Jon Eberhard and also features previously released singles like the vulnerable “Rain,” the steadfast “Into Hell,” and their heaviest song to date, the title track “Violent Nature.” With the album now available everywhere, fans can fully experience the emotional depth and explosive energy of this definitive new era for I Prevail.
