Rapper Kid Cudi has officially released his new studio album, ‘Free’, which is available everywhere out now via Republic Records. The album was preceded by the release of the dynamic third single, “Mr. Miracle,” which continues the rapper’s exciting new chapter. Cudi kicked off this era with “Neverland,” the first single off ‘Free’, and premiered his short film of the same title, directed by Ti West and produced by Monkeypaw Productions, at Tribeca Film Festival.
The album follows a record breaking 2024 that saw his iconic track “Day ‘N’ Nite (Nightmare)” officially earn its RIAA diamond certification, marking his groundbreaking debut ‘Man on the Moon: The End of Day’ as “the first 2000s hip hop album to earn multiple RIAA diamond singles.” The second single from the ‘Free’ era, “Grave,” was accompanied by an official music video shot by award winning director Samuel Bayer, known for his iconic videos for artists like Nirvana and The Rolling Stones. With the full album out now, Kid Cudi reinforces his position as one of hip hop’s most influential and enduring voices.
