The song was written by Dasha with hitmakers David Garcia, JKash, and Gian Stone. The cinematic official music video for the single stars Love Island’s Rob Rausch with special guest entrepreneur and influencer Briley King, perfectly capturing the track’s carefree, spontaneous energy.
The California native shared the song’s meaning, saying, “‘Like It Like That’ is about letting go of that pressure to get love ‘right’ and embracing the moments that don’t fit the plan. At this point in my life, I’m not trying to have it all figured out—sometimes the so called wrong person is exactly right for right now.” She explained further that she is not looking for perfection but “good stories and chasing feelings that I can get songs out of.” “Like It Like That” follows the earlier singles “Not At This Party” and the emotional “Oh, Anna!” and this new track continues to build anticipation for her upcoming project.
