2025 has been an epic breakthrough year for the acclaimed Welsh quartet The Royston Club, achieving a number four chart position for their album ‘Songs For The Spine’ through to a sold out autumn UK headline and a highly sought after nomination at this week’s Rolling Stone UK Awards. The band’s massive success is reflected in the critical praise, with Clash confirming they are “Flying the flag for mesmerising guitar sounds The Royston Club make music of the type that has become a rarity,” and Northern Exposure writing that the band “May be just the push that The Royston Club needs in order to make their name stand in with the indie greats.” The road ahead looks wide open for the group, and they are starting 2026 by confirming a fresh ‘Songs For The Spine’ headline tour in May that promises their biggest shows yet.
The tour will see the band play to almost 10,000 fans across three major UK shows, starting with a massive night at London’s historic Roundhouse, followed by calls at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange and Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse. The run also continues into Europe, heading to Berlin before stopping in Paris, where they will follow two recent sold out gigs at Supersonic Recordings by stepping up to the larger Petit Bain. The Royston Club commented, “We’re all excited to bring ‘Songs For The Spine’ on tour again in 2026 for our biggest ever headline shows.” Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, November 21st at 10 AM, giving fans plenty of time to plan their trip to experience the acclaimed new music live. In addition to the new dates, The Royston Club will end this year with sold out shows at Cardiff’s Great Hall and Liverpool’s Mountford Hall, and their 2026 summer festival plans are already taking shape with the Neighbourhood Weekender, Rock The People, and a confirmed appearance at Crystal Palace Park as special guests to Two Door Cinema Club.
