Rising country duo Ryan and Rory wrap up their breakout 2025 with the release of “Lawn Chair In The Living Room,” a new single arriving this Friday, November 28. Written by Ryan Follese, Rory John Zak, Andy Albert, Trannie Anderson, and Kevin Bard, the track leans into lived-in storytelling and self-aware charm. “Rory had a difficult breakup early this year,” shares Ryan. “And then he came home to an empty house… a circumstance that, to songwriters, inspires a great song title: ‘Lawn Chair In The Living Room.’” Rory adds, “I decided to turn heartbreak into interior design, at least that’s what a guy would call it.”
With an eye for detail and plenty of warmth, the duo captures the feeling of solitude before someone special changes everything. “Lawn Chair” follows their fan-favorite “Together Again (feat. Jamey Johnson)” and the upbeat “Girls Are Pretty,” closing a major year of new music and coast-to-coast touring. Their final run of 2025 includes dates alongside John Morgan and the James Barker Band across Canada and the western U.S., bringing their signature harmony and humor to fans one last time this year.
