This record marks a significant transition for the band, who focused on extra effort in song structure and captivating atmospheres following recent lineup changes, resulting in a project worked like a five-act film score. The title, Old English for “Those who have done nothing,” reflects the core theme of the album: humanity’s ongoing decline and the endless cycle of mistakes, symbolized by the cover art, a 1940 painting illustrating man blindly shaping the heavy block of his own destiny.
