Rock Band Captain Mantis Unveils Groovy New EP ‘Vice Market’

Monterrey rock band Captain Mantis has released their new EP, ‘Vice Market’. The four-song release is the band’s first since 2020 and perfectly showcases their blend of old-school rock vibes with a modern flair. The EP opens with “Moonshine Alley,” a groovy track about temptation, followed by the upbeat “Simon Frost” and the melodic “Galatea.” The title track, “Vice Market,” closes the record in style, using a bilingual styling with English and Spanish to deliver the message. The band, made up of Checo Ruizesparza, Ignacio Alvarez, Pato SepĂșlveda, and Charly Lowry, recorded the EP at Sultana Records and describes the project as being made “with love, and for people that love music,” successfully treading a roadmap to new sounds.
