The Dream Syndicate reclaim their storied past with the expansive 42 song ‘Medicine Show’ box set, arriving through their Down There label and Fire Records after finally securing reissue rights from Universal. The collection digs deep into their 1983 84 vaults with radio sessions, demos, rehearsals and the full WXRT broadcast alongside a remastered album drawn from the original tapes. Steve Wynn says he cannot wait to revisit the songs onstage as the band launches a U.S. fall run before heading to Europe. The set captures the wild chemistry, raw ideas and combustible spirit that defined their Medicine Show era.
